Virtual Manipulatives Medley for ABE Teachers

Participants of this webinar will be provided with tools and resources online that will help students develop their mathematical reasoning and problem solving skills. These tools will help teachers illustrate ABE concepts in a more visual yet analytic fashion. The lesson activities and problems included in this webinar are aligned with the College and Career Readiness Standards for ABE. Teachers will see a visual demonstration of how word problems are solved visually using virtual manipulatives. Problems that will be presented in this workshop will focus on the 10 domains of Florida Adult Education Curriculum Framework for ABE Mathematics. Although this webinar is catered for ABE teachers, GED teachers will also benefit from this webinar as these tools strengthen students’ foundational understanding of fundamental mathematics concepts Agenda:
