By the end of the session, participants will be able to explain why contextualized instruction for work and career pathways, is relevant for ESOL learners, identify the correlation between contextualization and language development, consider areas of contextualization that are already part of their instruction, and infuse one or more career awareness tasks in their ESOL class Links to a wealth of resources will be provided.
