Unlocking the Learning to Build Resilient Learners through Reading and Math (Leon County)
This workshop has been developed to assist in the building of specific content knowledge and more effective reading and mathematical thinking skills to empower struggling NRS levels 2 and 3 learners. During both sessions of the workshop, we will focus on the standards of close reading in fiction and nonfiction and mathematical thinking in the area of fractions. You will have the opportunity to engage in the use of different types of manipulatives and activities that you can take back to your ABE/ESOL classroom.
